The computing curriculum is wide and varied. Children learn basic computing skills, such as word processing, creating and manipulating digital images and videos and saving and retrieving files.

They also learn programming skills and what an algorithm is and create simple algorithms. They use various pieces of software to develop their programming skills, such as Scratch. They develop research skills to support their work in other subjects and also learn how to distinguish between trustworthy websites. A key part of the curriculum is E-Safety and learning how to use technology in a safe way. The children learn about privacy and security and how to report concerns.
