Mental Health & Wellbeing
At our school, we place mental health and wellbeing at the heart of everything we do. We take a relational approach, building strong, positive relationships that help every child feel safe and valued. Our Mental Health Ambassadors promote wellbeing across the school. We offer a range of initiatives to nurture wellbeing, including the Daily Mile to encourage physical activity, Calm Spaces in classrooms for reflection and time to think, and playtimes that allow children to socialise with peers from different year groups. Prefects support younger pupils, and our daily collective worship provides opportunities for reflection and community connection. We also have strong links with our local community and host PTFA events that bring families together and boost wellbeing. Through these approaches, we aim to create a caring, inclusive environment where every child can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
