Teaching Vacancies

We currently have vacancies for 1 x permanent KS1 teacher, 1 x maternity cover KS2 and 1 x part time 0.44 Early Years Teacher

You will: - •

  • Be passionate about achieving the best outcomes for all children and giving children an excellent foundation in key skills.
  • Be able to communicate your vision for excellence within EY/KS1/KS2 to staff, governors and parents
  • For the KS1 positions have knowledge of KS1 SATS and/or phonic screening.
  • Show a strong, proven track record of excellence in teaching and learning
  • Have a teaching qualification plus evidence of continued professional development
  • Show outstanding classroom organisation with excellent behaviour management.
  • Be able to work within a team to inspire and plan effectively to ensure all pupils are fully challenged so their learning is of the highest standard.
  • Have a strong commitment to working with parents/carers collaboratively.
  • Show the ability to assess pupil achievement accurately and set clear next steps for progress.
  • Be someone who will support our Christian ethos and distinctiveness of the school.

There are three posts available one is a permanent position in KS1, one is to cover a maternity leave in KS2 and the other post is a fixed term part time post (0.44) for one year in Early Years to end on 31/08/2025. This temporary post is to cover our Assistant Head's teaching commitment to allow her time to further progress improvement within the school. Please indicate on your application form which posts you are interested in applying for.

The post holders will be expected to start in September 2024.
