Geography

Geography will encourage pupils to reflect on their surrounding environment and compare this to other parts in the UK and of the world.

In teaching Geography we aim to provoke and answer questions about the natural and human worlds. Children develop their knowledge and understanding of places and environments throughout the world. They will learn human and physical geography enquiry both, inside and outside the classroom. Beyond the classroom, they are able to improve their field work skills; learning how to create and analyse maps, describe and identify features of the environment. More importantly we aim to develop their sense of their own identity and place in their local environment as well as in the world.
